Conditions of the transfer event

The customer is responsible for the validity and extent of insurance coverage for their car; the transferred car must have valid insurance that also covers reindeer collisions. In the event of a reindeer collision, the customer agrees to pay for their own deductible and any other costs associated with the insurance. In the event of any damage, the transporting driver or company (Eräsaukko Oy) is not liable for costs related to reindeer collisions. Each damage situation will be handled based on the current situation and the extent of the damage, with the exception of reindeer collisions, for which Eräsaukko Oy is not responsible.

The car owner is also responsible for their car in the event of theft from the moment of delivery onwards. The car must also have theft insurance, as Eräsaukko Oy is not responsible for theft damages that occur while the car is parked.

Depending on the weather, the customer's car must have appropriate tires; Eräsaukko Oy is not liable for damage if the tires are deemed unsuitable for the specific situation (e.g., using summer tires in winter). The transporting driver must exercise extra caution when moving the vehicle, taking into account the current weather conditions. Eräsaukko Oy and the transporting driver have the right to check that the aforementioned conditions are met before proceeding with the transfer, and if the conditions are not met, the transfer can be cancelled by Eräsaukko Oy at any time.
